This bowl serves as both a functional fruit holder and an artistic centerpiece. The interior showcases sixty hand-carved flutes, terminating at a central panel adorned with durable milk paint—a subtle detail also echoed along the bowl’s rim. The exterior was carefully abraded to emphasize the natural grain of the wood. The interior invites touch with its rhythmic ridges and valleys, while the exterior is smooth, yet the gentle irregularities of the wood grain telegraph through.
