Bleached Cherry Dry Vase

This large, Black cherry vase has an abundance of texture and visual interest. The darker, warm tones of natural cherry have been transformed with a careful use of bleach on the surface. The resultant color has a contemporary lightness, which contrasts nicely with the worm holes and twisted, waxed cord at the waist.
